PPG Industries’ coil and building products group announced that its digital Architectural Metal Coatings Binder is now available for download in the APPLE APP STORE online store. The free application enables access to fully updated catalogs, product brochures and data sheets for the entire roster of PPG liquid and powder coil and extrusion coatings, including industry-leading brands such as DURANAR, CORAFLON, DURASTAR, DURACRON, ENVIROCRON, ENVIRON, POLYCRON, ULTRA-COOL and VARI-COOL coatings.

Sharon Bird, PPG marketing communications manager, industrial coatings, said the new app will offer architects and specifiers another user-friendly way to access and download information whether they are in the office, traveling or meeting with clients. “Architects and specifiers demand speed and convenience from their vendors and suppliers,” she explained. “This new app delivers both in a widely-used platform.” Digital binder content also encompasses color guides and technical documents for PPG metal coatings, along with white papers, case studies and sourcing information for members of the PPG CERTIFIED APPLICATOR PROGRAM group and PPG-approved extrusion applicators and coil coaters.
